For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved traveling. But it really took off when I learned to read and discovered the Guide du Routard (literally meaning Backpacker’s Guide) —a true bible for French travelers. From then on, I loved guiding my friends and family on trips (I didn’t earn tips, but my parents covered my holidays in exchange, so it never felt like work)
Hi! I am Juliette.

My studies in literature, and especially my Master’s in History from the Sorbonne University, further nurtured this curiosity and allowed me to develop a real passion and expertise in historical research. This love for exploration deepened when I started solo-traveling —first in California at 21, and since then to many destinations across Europe and Latin America. During those solo trips, I had the freedom to explore entirely on my own terms—and that’s when I discovered what I truly love about traveling: pushing open doors that have never been opened, seeking out the unique, and venturing off the beaten path.

I had my first guiding experiences in New York, from 2023 to June 2025. I started out as a food tour guide (being paid to eat and talk about history really was a dream job…) Later, I worked as a history tour guide in both English and French. Along the way, I met incredible people and discovered so many unique aspects of a city that never stops moving. Today, thanks to those experiences, I feel ready to take the next step by creating my own business.

With Voyage with Juliet, I aim to share not only my love for travel but also my passion for unique itineraries, hidden gems, and fascinating, little-known stories. I design trips just the way I like to travel: in small, welcoming groups, at a relaxed pace that allows true discovery, with a cultural and historical twist—without ever feeling too formal. Above all, I focus on original experiences and discoveries, from local secrets to unique activities you won’t find in a typical guidebook.
